Post Sugar Tax Workshop
Sensory Dimensions Post Sugar Tax Workshop
The introduction of a tax on sugary drinks in the UK was effective from 6 April 2018 as part of an anti-obesity policy. Sugar reduction is a central focus in both the food and drink industries and provides many new challenges for product development.
We are holding a one day special topic workshop on sugar reduction, on Thursday 7 February at Sensory Dimensions, Cutbush Industrial Park, Reading. We will review how industry and consumers have responded to the introduction of sugar tax and debate how these responses are expected to evolve in the future.
The day will be informal with plenty of opportunity for discussion and networking. Arrival is from 10am and lunch is provided.
Spaces are limited so please get in touch if you would like an invitation to this event.
