Petfood Panelist

Vacancies | Petfood Panelist

Pet Food Panel Member, 1.5-2 hours per week.

…If you can answer ‘yes’ to these questions then you may be the ideal candidate to join our PET FOOD panel at SAM-Sensory Dimensions, Nottingham.

 

Our current pet food panel consists of 14 people. Panel sessions run on average twice per week, 2 x 1.5-2 hrs sessions (not guaranteed). The successful candidate will join the group and be guided throughout the training process. They will need to be able to participate in group discussions as well as completing assessment work alone.

Rate of pay is:

  • 1.5 hr pays £17.25

  • 2hr pays £23

Successful panelists will need to be prepared to smell, touch and sort through wet pet food (it can be gross).  A good sense of smell is essential! Hours of work are not guaranteed and will vary week to week, with shift work covering mainly afternoon and evening. On occasion, there may be weekend work available as well. Panelist’s will need to be prepared to smell, touch and sort through wet pet food
