We trained our Sensory Panels to recognise, characterise and quantify the foreign odours that can accumulate in the headspace of personal care products packed in grey plastic. The panel then carried out investigative screening of a wide range of recycled plastic materials in combination with an extensive variety of products checking the performance of each against the current materials.
Having a ready to go Sensory Panel resource available enabled the client to get fast turnaround of results and rapidly screen an extensive number of potential materials before selecting the best options.
In addition, the testing established a deep knowledge base which enabled future prediction of the performance of packaging materials in combination with different product systems.
