Society of Dairy Technology - Spring Conference 2019
The Society of Dairy Technology Spring Conference 2019 took place in Whitchurch, Shropshire, on 9-10 May. This event provides a valuable forum for knowledge sharing and education for specialists within the Dairy industry. The theme of this years meeting was Product, Process and Packaging Innovation with topical talks from current consumer trends and market behaviours and embracing new technologies to environmental impact, sustainability and food ethics.
Sensory Dimensions' Tracey had the pleasure of speaking at this event and led a presentation covering the importance of sensory and consumer research and how it can support the NPD process by giving valuable consumer insight into what influences consumer product choices. By using qualitative and quantitative consumer research, it can guide and support throughout the product development process, giving additional evidence to enhance successful product design and aid innovation.
