Impact 2019

Impact 2019

The Market Research Society (MRS) Annual Conference, Impact 2019 'Augmented Insights for Future Growth' took place on 12th & 13th March.

Sensory Dimensions Chairman, Pam Beyts, attended the event and had the pleasure of listening to insightful presentations from Agencies and Clients showcasing new and creative research focused around: Commercial creativity, Future fusion & Smart societies.

The conference sessions were extremely engaging with thought-provoking discussions, future concepts & techniques, and industry examples. Those that were of particular interest over the 2-day conference covered:

• New Immersive techniques that aimed to get the client more closely involved with the consumer’s world
• Emerging technology that is helping to expand our understanding of how emotion, senses and time influence the way we make decisions
• Case studies about three brands (Formula 1, book authors, and legal cannabis in Canada), showing new ways that have been developed to truly understand consumes wants and needs and use these as a spring board for brand innovation.

The Murder Mystery lunchtime workshop was a first for Impact and was a fascinating opportunity to investigate the presented dilemma.
