- Are you adept at forging long-lasting partnerships with clients?
- Do you enjoy a dynamic working environment and the challenge of coordinating multiple projects?
- Are you committed to delivering the highest quality and maintaining operational excellence within the business?
- Are you passionate about managing people and developing their potential?
...if you can honestly answer yes to these questions then you may be the ideal candidate for this exciting role at Sensory Dimensions Ltd in Nottingham.
We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director to join our ever-expanding and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a team of Programme Managers, Project Managers and Technicians responsible for the delivery of Sensory and Consumer Research projects within the food and beverage division.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the field of sensory and consumer research and a track record of supportive and decisive leadership, combined with skilled management of technical personnel.
Outstanding communication skills are the cornerstone of this role, both externally with clients and internally with the rest of the Team. Also essential are the ability to operate calmly under pressure and to work to strict deadlines.
The role requires flexibility; excellent organisation; good time management skills; strong practical skills; a logical approach to problem solving; and great attention to detail. The ability to manage a variety of projects with differing objectives, often simultaneously, should be seen as a challenge rather than a hindrance. Applicants should expect to have these core skills tested during the selection process.
Applicants must have a science-based degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years project management experience in Sensory and Consumer research (including data analysis, application of statistical analysis techniques and data interpretation) and a minimum of 5 years experience in managing a team. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Senior Research Manager looking for their next career move.
If you believe that you are an exceptional candidate, please make your application by sending your CV and a covering letter explaining why to Dr Tracey Hollowood at email@example.com.
